memorial yardenbox 25 may 2012

In Uncategorized on 05/24/2012 by jenn in the yarden

This weekend buck the tradition of remembering our fallen soldiers by consuming large amounts of chips and salsa and instead try a veggie lettuce wrap: My new favorite thing is to saunter in the yarden, snap a lettuce leaf and fill it with an assortment of other leaves and herbs, e.g. spinach, shiso, cilantro, parsley, arugula, oregano. I roll or fold it all in the romaine lettuce and chomp. My mouth is watering just typing about it! My beloved calls me a goat. I don’t care. It’s yummylicious.
